Hot Rock with Ponzu Butter
We love Shabu for date night, birthdays, and when visitors are in town! The food is fantastic but the atmosphere is even better - always lively and welcoming!
Firecracker Shrimp
This is one of my favorite appetizers of all time. The shrimp is perfectly breaded, perfectly crispy---lending to the best consistency. It also has the perfect coating of sauce and a dipping sauce that is heavenly. Perfect for sharing and as a pre-dinner dish. Order this dish!

This is my favorite dish on the menu. It is consistently good, I think it's the standout app - it is well portioned and is what it says it is.
Blistered Greens Beans &/or Shishito Peppers
The unexpected MVP of any Shabu meal is the blistered green beans and shishito peppers. Cooked to perfection; the vegetables are extremely tender and juicy. Coated perfectly in a miso glaze that adds umami to every bite. A must order every time you are at Shabu.
Hot Rock with Ponzu Butter
The hot rock with Japanese Wagyu is worth the trip to Shabu alone. The meat is divine- cut to the perfect size, paired with the perfect sauce and seamlessly cooked on the sizzling hot rock before melting in your mouth. It's so good you will not want to share. Not kidding. I've never been so excited for any piece of beef in my life.

It was amazing! The ponzu butter is perfect with the steak which is tender and only needs a little attention. It's fun to steam and a great recommendation from our waiter!
Hot Rock with Ponzu Butter
The Hot Rock with Ponzu Butter was easily one of the best Japanese dishes I've ever had. After a long day of skiing, it was exactly the nightcap I needed - coupled with a carafe of sake I could've crushed 3 more plates of beef easily. The beef was sliced thin and cooked in seconds on the sizzling rock, staying incredibly tender. The ponzu butter added a perfect hit of richness that made each bite better than the last and totally stole the show. Fun, delicious, and totally memorable - this was the highlight of the night, and I'll be back just for that dish!!
Thai Fried Rice
One of the best dishes and some of the best flavors I have ever had. Every time my family visits park city, Shabu is a must!
Yellow Widow
the yellow widow was hands down one of the best bites of the night. the tempura soft shell crab was perfectly crispy without feeling heavy, and the avocado and sprouts added a really fresh balance. the hamachi on top was buttery and clean, and the lemon and spicy eel sauce tied everything together with just the right amount of heat and brightness. if you love layered flavors and textures, this is a must-order.
Tonkatsu Ramen
We are locals and this is by far one of our favorite restaurants! The Tonkatsu Ramen is delicious! Some of the best flavors in Park City!
